I just walked in the door from an absolutely wonderful weekend in Edinburgh… but more on that in a few days.
In the past, I’ve shared my tips for staying active while traveling. But never before have I shared my tips for how to stay motivated to workout during the holidays. Oddly, the holidays are always the one time each year when I really kick my butt in gear and workout with any form of regularity. I don’t know if it’s the additional vacation time or the fear of what effect six holiday parties in three days might have on my body, but I always stay relatively active during the holiday season.
BTW if you want to just skip this whole post and go straight for the giveaway, no judgement – just click here.
First I got sick with a killer cold. Then I had two ten-page papers due over the weekend. Which somehow made me even more sick. But now I’m back and sooooo ready to talk sparkles.
In particular, sparkly sequin dresses for NYE. Best part? There’s a giveaway at the very bottom of this post… for $1000 for you to spend as you wish this holiday season! Need more presents? You’re set. Need your very own sparkly dresses for NYE? You can buy my whole look from today and still have money left over!
Since Thanksgiving, I’ve received dozens of requests for ideas for what to wear to an office holiday party. From casual dinner parties to black tie events at local museums, y’all have just about everything on the horizon.
So, to answer all of your questions (and save myself a lot of time emailing), I decided to do a huge round up of all of the dresses which have caught my eye this holiday season. Each dress is appropriate to wear around colleagues… while also being fun and festive for the holiday season!
If you’re anything like me, Christmastime is your favorite time of the year. I love driving around Highland Park at night, looking at all of the pretty lights, jamming out to all of the Christmas carols. In my jammies. With a steaming cup of hot chocolate. This has become my nightly ritual ever since I got back from celebrating Thanksgiving in Austin.
While Highland Park is definitely my most-frequented spot, there are plenty of places in Dallas to help you get in the holiday spirit to help you get in the holiday spirit. Because there are 0 Scrooges allowed here, folks.
