What to Wear to an Office Holiday Party

What to Wear to an Office Holiday Party, Pink Bow Sleeve Dress

Since Thanksgiving, I’ve received dozens of requests for ideas for what to wear to an office holiday party. From casual dinner parties to black tie events at local museums, y’all have just about everything on the horizon.

So, to answer all of your questions (and save myself a lot of time emailing), I decided to do a huge round up of all of the dresses which have caught my eye this holiday season. Each dress is appropriate to wear around colleagues… while also being fun and festive for the holiday season!

When deciding what to wear to an office holiday party, keep in mind the fact that you’ll be around colleagues. While I might be happy and confident wearing a dress with a slit up to there to a gala, work holiday parties are still part of work. And you should dress accordingly – as if you were just really dressed up for a day at the office.

However, let’s day that the dress that makes you feel super confident is one that has a bit more skin showing. I say you do you, girl! As with just about anything else in life, if you feel confident and you exude confidence, nobody will question you.

PS if you have a dress at home but are nervous about it being too revealing, try balancing it out with accessories. If the dress has a big slit, wear a giant statement necklace to bring the eye upward. If it’s a low back, wear a cardigan or a shawl. And, if it’s cleavage baring, try statement earrings and a lace insert.
