What I’m Wearing:

Dress: Trina Turk / Jacket: Burberry / Heels: Cole Haan / Purse: Vince Camuto, old (similar) / Earrings: The Pearl Monkey, c/o
Pearl Bracelet: Kiel James Patrick / Dallas Cuff: Simplestamp, c/o (use code Glitter20 for 20% off!) / Ring: LC Lauren Conrad

So, is it weird I had never seen Othello – or Otello, for that matter – before Friday night. I had a rough idea of the story of Otello and Desdemona – husband and wife in love, husband gets jealous for truly no apparent reason, husband kills wife, husband finds out wife was innocent, husband commits suicide, curtain. Pretty easy to follow.

Why does the chick always die in these things? Rude.

For nearly my entire trip to New York City, the weather was disastrous-borderline-apocalyptic. Super scary. At one point, I literally found myself using my umbrella as a shield in front of my body (because apparently horizontal rain is a thing), slowly advancing one step at a time like the stone men in Hogwarts from Harry Potter. I felt super tough afterwards.

Not at all Desdemona-esque.
